This clay workshop is suitable for adults and teens aged 14 plus. Come and make something beautiful ready for those warmer days & longer evenings. Spring is coming!! or those of you who joined us on one of our many Christmas Wreath Workshops, you now have a spare hook after putting the festive decs away so this is the perfect excuse to make another. You will treasure it forever & enjoy it year after year. Make memories, sip hot chocolate and get creative together. We will have samples to inspire you but this project has plenty of room for your own design ideas and unique creative twist. If you fancy an Easter version, we can help with this too as we have lots of gorgeous cutters & moulds to help shape your design. Full instructions & guidance will be given during the session along with advice on adding the finishing touches. We have a wide range of stamps, cutters, moulds & printed rolling pins to help you to design your wreath. Hand-made pottery has a beautiful organic feel to it. Make something to be proud of or gift it to someone you love.

The session allows for up to 1.5 hours of creating and relaxing. Your finished piece will be left with us for approx 3 weeks so that it can dry before the first bisque firing. After that, you can either return to paint yours at our studio at a time that suits you, this ensures a superior finish and the second kiln firing makes sure that the wreath is water tight for outdoor display or, you can collect the bisque fired wreath and decorate at home using acrylic paints which are easy to find in shops like Hobbycraft or The Works. The choice is yours. If you wish to return for a painting session, we will charge an additional £10 studio fee to cover the glaze & second firing.

This is a really lovely project that you control from start to finish.

A 50% deposit is required on booking with the remaining 50% payable at the session. In the event of you being unable to attend, please call the studio on 01633 406406. If we receive 48 hours notice we will do our best to find a replacement for your space and a credit note for your deposit will be issued for you to spend at rhe studio. Credit notes are valid for 3 months from the date of issue. We cannot guarantee that your place will be filled. Please note that a credit note will not be given if your space cannot be filled. You are welcome to transfer your space to a friend or family member if you cannot attend.
