Ceri will be hosting this fun workshop aimed at children & their grown ups who will team together to throw pots on our potter’s wheel.

After a demonstration from Ceri, you will be shown how to wedge & prepare the clay ready for an introduction to throwing. You will each throw a pot on the wheel and learn how to shape it and create texture using our tools.

We will then help you to create gorgeous add ons for your pots using our range of sprig moulds. We have a variety of decorating ideas for girls & boys.

Pots will be kiln fired approx 3 weeks later. If you’d like to paint your pots at the studio, you can book this separately when they have been bisque fired. An additional studio fee of £8 will be charged per pot to cover your studio session, glazes & the additional kiln firing. You can let us know whether you'd like to book a follow up painting session and if so, we will book this for you when your pots have had their first firing. If you’d prefer to leave them plain, that’s fine too. You can decorate them at home with acrylic paints as an alternative.

Session is expected to last approximately 1.5 hours.

Price is for one adult & one child sharing a session together. £25 in total. 50% payable on booking & remainder due at the session. Alternatively, you can book for 2 children to share the session but due to space limitations during Half Term Week we do need to restrict it to one supervising adult per booking.

Suitable for children aged 5 plus. Please do not book younger children as they will not be able to use our tools & equipment safely

Bookings are non-refundable but can be transferred if you find someone who would like to take your place. With a minimum of 24 hours notice, we will attempt to re-sell your space to another customer if you are not able to make it. Should we be successful in filling your space then you will be offered a £25 credit note which can be redeemed against any of our services or products within 3 months.
