Get hands on this Valentines Day & join Ceri for a clay making workshop where we will be creating mugs from earthenware clay. Full instructions & guidance will be given during the session along with advice on adding the finishing touches including how to create your handle and additional embellishments to decorate your mug. Hand-made mugs have a beautiful organic feel to them. Make something to be proud of. You could even gift your mugs to one another.

The session allows for two hours of creating and relaxing. Perfectly timed to head out for dinner after your session if you'd like to make a night of it.

Your mug will be left with us for 2 weeks so that it can dry before the first bisque firing. After that, you can return to paint your mugs at a time that suits you, simply book your follow up session at the end of this workshop. You will have access to our full range of professional glazes which we will show you how to use.

If you will struggle to make a return visit, we are happy to glaze your mug for you.

Your mug will then be fired for a second time after your return visit for painting.

A really lovely project that you control from start to finish.

£30 per person which includes both the initial workshop with full tuition and then your follow up painting visit, all materials, glazing & firing.

Please note that whilst this is a Valentine's Special (because we always get asked for pottery dates around Valentines) it is open to everyone so whether you come with your partner, your bestie or your Mum, if it's someone you love who cares!

As this is an evening workshop, you are welcome to bring your favourite tipple if you wish along with a few snacks (no hot food please). Hot & soft drinks will be available to purchase on the night.

50% deposit required on booking with the remaining 50% payable on the evening. In the event of you being unable to attend, please call the studio on 01633 406406. If we receive 48 hours notice we will do our best to find a replacement for your space but this cannot be guaranteed and credit notes will not be given if your space cannot be filled. You are welcome to transfer your space to a friend or family member if you cannot attend.
